Founder Story

From a young age, I have been surrounded by traditional hanging scrolls and crafts at my grandmother’s place. During my studies and time abroad, I realized the depth of Japanese culture and became passionate about sharing it with the world. It is my desire to enhance the lives of people everywhere with these handcrafted pieces that have been perfected over more than a millennium.

My hobbies range from experiencing Japanese culture through tea ceremony to active sports like bouldering, figure skating, and gymnastics. It is my hope to spread the beauty of Japan’s traditions through my work and hobbies.

Background: Currently, I work as a self-employed advisor for traditional Japanese crafts and serve as a Customer Success Sales Manager at YZ Corporation. After graduating from Nagoya University with a degree in engineering, I assisted with the promotion of crafts at my family’s business while researching materials engineering. To spread traditional crafts more widely, I gained sales and product development experience as an IT consultant for manufacturing and machinery trading companies at Forcia Inc. Now, I am involved in business expansion at the startup YZ Corporation to further my experience with startups.
